Bio

Before USJ: Martin played one year at Sacred Heart in Fairfield, Conn. before arriving at USJ. He appeared in six games for the Pioneers. Prior to the Division I stop, Martin played for the Beavers of Weaver High School, in nearby Hartford, Conn. Weaver finished 18-2 three straight seasons with Martin in the lineup, including 2015, when they won the CIAC Class M State Championship in dominant fashion, 73-59, over Notre Dame-Fairfield. Martin and the Beavers were back in the state title game as a junior, but lost in a double-OT thriller to Hillhouse, 94-83. Martin lost in the state quarterfinals to East Hartford as a senior. He finished with a four-year varsity record of 66-14.
