LaRose Tosses Eight Scoreless Innings, Powers Baseball to GNAC Win Over NEC
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Freshman pitcher Aaron LaRose (Hinesburg, Vt.) tossed eight scoreless innings with seven strikeouts to power the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) baseball team to a 2-1 victory over the visiting New England College Pilgrims in Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) action Tuesday afternoon at the USJ Baseball Field in West Hartford, Conn. With the result, the Blue Jays improved to 10-7 overall on the season and 2-0 in GNAC play, while the Pilgrims dropped to 4-12 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

The Blue Jays will look to keep it rolling as they return right back between the lines tomorrow, Wednesday, March 26, for a non-conference home game versus Westfield State University. First pitch between the Blue Jays and Owls is set for 3:00 p.m. at the USJ Baseball Field in West Hartford, Conn.
