WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's volleyball team dropped a non-conference matchup to Bay Path University (BPU), 3-0 (25-15, 25-21, 25-21), Thursday night inside the James A. HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The duo linked up once again later in the set, recording back-to-back kills again, increasing the gap to 15-8.

  • However, BPU fired back with a 10-1 run, taking a 19-17 edge in the set.

  • Junior outside hitter Shaye Harris (Bloomfield, Conn.) levelled the set at 21-21 after a timly kill, but BPU took the final four points to win the set, 25-21, and establish a 2-0 lead in the match.

  • The Wildcats carried the momentum into the third set, jumping out to an 11-6 edge.

  • USJ fought back though, as kills from Fitzgerald, Weiss and a servie ace by Dugas, levelled the set at 16-16.
