Dugas Named GNAC Women's Volleyball Libero of the Week

WINTHROP, Mass. – Sophomore libero Alyssa Dugas (Newington, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's volleyball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Libero of the Week, it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its third weekly report of the 2025 season. The award marks the first time that Dugas has received a conference weekly accolade this season, and in her career.

Dugas paced the USJ defense during a 2-1 week, recording 72 total digs, which averaged out to 7.20 digs per set. The sophomore libero started the week with a career-high 42 digs during a 3-1 win at Fitchburg State. The Newington, Conn., native rounded out the week with 16 digs during a 3-0 win over Curry and 14 digs against Sarah Lawrence. This season, Dugas has tallied a GNAC-best 141 total digs and averages 4.55 digs per set, which ranks third in the conference.

UP NEXT
