Rossetti Earns Spot on Women’s Tennis All-CNE Second Team

BEVERLY, Mass. – Sophomore Maddie Rossetti (Hamden, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's tennis team was named to the All-Conference of New England (CNE) Second Team for singles play, as announced by the conference office during its unveiling of the 2025 year-end awards Tuesday afternoon. In addition, senior Lili Garcia (Wethersfield, Conn.) was selected to the CNE Community Service Team. The awards are voted on by the league's 11 head coaches.

Rossetti continued her stellar play in 2025, leading the Blue Jays at both the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions. The sophomore compiled an overall record of 19-9, including a 10-4 mark in singles and a 9-5 record in doubles.

About the Conference of New England
Originally founded in 1984 as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC), and reconstituted as the Conference of New England (CNE) in 2024, the CNE is an NCAA Division III athletic conference composed of 11 full member and five associate member institutions throughout the New England region. Its membership aims to provide student-athletes with a positive experience in their pursuit of excellence through high academic standards, quality competition and a meaningful student life. The Conference administers championships in 21 intercollegiate sports.
