Women's Swimming & Diving Named CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Team

RICHMOND, Va. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's swimming and diving team has been selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Spring Scholar All-America Team, it was announced by the association. The Blue Jays posted a 3.57 team GPA during the Spring 2026 semester to earn the honor. A total of 714 teams from 418 institutions were named Scholar All-America Teams. Those teams, representing 16,680 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic performance during the semester.

To earn the recognition, each team was required to post a cumulative team grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher during the Spring 2026 semester.

USJ and Saint Joseph's College of Maine were the lone teams from the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) to receive the honor on the women's side. Among the nation's top academic performers, Colorado College (NCAA Division III) posted the highest men's team GPA across all divisions with a 3.87, while Catawba College (NCAA Division II) recorded the highest women's team GPA with a 3.94.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
