Women's Swimming & Diving Slotted Tied for Third in GNAC Pre-Championship Poll

WINTHROP, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's swimming and diving team were picked to finish tied for third in the 2026 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll, the league's front office announced Friday afternoon. The three-day GNAC Championships are set to begin on Friday, February 6th inside the WPI Sports & Recreation Center in Worcester, Mass.

The women's team was picked to finish tied for third with Regis College after receiving 33 poll points, ahead of Elms College (17), Saint Joseph's College of Maine (15) and Albertus Magnus (10). Simmons was selected to finish first in this year's championship, receiving 45 points and five of a possible seven first-place tallies. Norwich received the remaining two first-place votes, totaling 43 points for second place. USJ finished in fifth place at last year's GNAC Championship meet.
