Senior Diver Brielle Bergeron Earns All-New England Team Nod
READING, Mass. — Senior diver and captain Brielle Bergeron (Easthampton, Mass.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's swimming & diving team was named to the 2022 New England Intercollegiate Swimming and Diving Association (NEISDA) All-New England Team, it was announced by the association Friday afternoon. 12 different women's programs had student-athletes recognized, with Bergeron representing the Blue Jays on the list. Bergeron has had a stellar senior season for Saint Joseph breaking multiple diving records and was named the Al Switzer Senior High Point Diver at the NEISDA Championship meet.

The 2022 NEISDA Championships took place February 24-27, at the University of Rhode Island. In order for a swimmer or diver to make the All-New England Team, they needed to record a top-eight individual finish or a top-four relay finish at the four-day NEISDA Championship meet.
In addition to the All-New England nod for Bergeron, sophomore Adelina Marcille (Waterford, Conn.) also received an All-NEISDA nod as a member of the NEISDA All-Sportsmanship Team.
NEISDA is a coach-run swimming and diving association with nearly two dozen Division III schools in New England. The association has been around for over 100 years.
