WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's soccer team was defeated by the visiting Lasell College Lasers, 3-0, on Senior Day in a Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) match at the USJ Soccer Field on Saturday afternoon. The setback in USJ's regular-season finale drops the Blue Jays to 7-7-1 overall and 5-6-1 in the GNAC, while Lasell improves to 11-4 and 10-0.

Prior to the match, the USJ Athletic Department recognized the Blue Jays' nine graduating seniors with a special celebration. USJ will be back in action next as it makes its 19th consecutive appearance in the GNAC postseason tournament. USJ will be the #8 seed and travel to take on the #1 seed Lasell on Saturday, October 27th in the GNAC Quarterfinals.
