Bio

2018-19: Led the Blue Jays in ground balls (27), 2nd in draw controls (21), and 3rd in goals (26). Had 8 multi-goal games, including a career-high 5 goals in a 17-10 loss to Emmanuel on March 30.

Before USJ: Valdez was a star for the Vikings of East Lyme High School. As a four-year member of the indoor track and field (and one year outdoor) team, she led East Lyme to four straight Eastern Connecticut Conference (ECC) Championships. She also won three conference titles in lacrosse from 2015-2017. Valdez won the sportsmanship award her senior year, and received a Spanish Academic Award as a junior.
