Yorke Named GNAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Sophomore guard Nevaeh Yorke (Norwich, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) women's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon in its eighth weekly report of the 2025–26 season. The honor marks the first GNAC weekly award of Yorke's career and the second for the USJ women's basketball program this season.
Yorke filled the stat sheet for USJ during a 1–1 week, averaging 11.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 6.0 steals per game. She opened the week with a near quadruple-double, recording 10 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists, and eight steals in a road contest at Baruch. Yorke capped the week by leading the Blue Jays to an overtime victory over Wellesley, posting 13 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists, and four steals.
On the season, the Norwich, Conn., native is averaging career highs of 9.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 3.3 steals per game.
