Craig Davidson enters his fifth season as head coach of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's tennis program and his first season as head coach of the Blue Jays' women's tennis team in 2026-27. The inaugural head coach in men's tennis program history, Davidson has guided the Blue Jays to postseason appearances in each of the program's first four seasons while compiling a 30-38 overall record.

During his four seasons leading the men's tennis program, Davidson has coached five All-Conference selections, highlighted by 2025 Conference of New England (CNE) First Team honoree Karol Romer. His student-athletes have also earned 10 Conference Player of the Week awards, 10 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete honors, four Conference All-Academic selections, and two College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

Davidson brings more than two decades of coaching and teaching experience to USJ. Prior to joining the Blue Jays, he coached adult and junior teams for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and spent one season as head men's tennis coach at John Jay College in New York City. During the 2009-10 campaign, he guided the Bloodhounds to a 10-4 overall record and a 6-2 mark in City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) play while advancing to the conference semifinals. Five student-athletes earned All-CUNYAC honors under his direction, while two were recognized as Academic All-Americans.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Davidson has served as a tennis professional at Enfield Tennis Club and Suffield Country Club, while also working as head professional at Litchfield Country Club and the JCC Swim & Tennis Club. He is the founder and owner of LOVE TENNIS LLC and serves as program director for the ACEing Autism West Hartford/USJ program. Davidson also works as a tennis professional at Magic Lincer Tennis Club in Manchester.

A West Hartford native and graduate of Hall High School, Davidson was a top-10 USTA New England junior player from 1990-98 and ranked among the top 120 nationally. He captured the 1997 CIAC Class L Boys Tennis State Championship before being recruited to play Division I collegiate tennis.
