WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's tennis team picked up its first victory of the 2023-24 season, sweeping the visiting Western New England University Golden Bears, 9-0, in non-conference action at the Elizabeth Ferry Speer Tennis Complex on a picturesque Monday afternoon in West Hartford. With the triumph, the Blue Jays improve to 1-1 overall on the young season, while the Golden Bears drop their first contest of the new season to dip to 1-1.

Men's tennis returns to the courts this upcoming weekend, October 7-8, to contest in the Springfield Invitational, hosted by Springfield College in Springfield, Mass. The Blue Jays are set to compete in a series of matches over the course of two days at the Appleton Tennis Courts, with the action set to start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.
