Hebb Named GNAC Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Freshman Aiden Hebb (Waterbury, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's swimming and diving team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Rookie of the Week it was announced by the conference front office on Monday afternoon in its second weekly report of the 2024-25 season. The weekly accolade is the first for the USJ men's swimming & diving team since Michael Allo earned Swimmer of the Week honors on December 5, 2022. The honor also marks the first time that Hebb earned a weekly conference accolade in his career.
Hebb paced the Blue Jays at the Blue Jay Pentathlon, finishing in fourth place. The freshman tallied a total time of 2:50.92 across the five events. On the day, Hebb recorded times of 27.45 seconds in the 50 Fly, 28.36 seconds in the 50 Back, 29.81 seconds in the 50 Breaststroke, 24.75 seconds in the 50 Free and 1:00.55 in the 100 IM.
UP NEXT
The Blue Jays return to the pool next on Saturday, October 26, hosting a double-dual meet against Husson and Plymouth State inside the Bruyette Natatorium. The meet is scheduled to start at 10:00 am.
