NEISDA ALL-SPORTSMANSHIP RELEASE
The 2022 NEISDA Championships took place February 24-27, at the University of Rhode Island. In order for a swimmer or diver to make the All-New England Team, they needed to record a top-eight individual finish or a top-four relay finish at the four-day NEISDA Championship meet.
Senior captain Jacob Wyse (Broad Brook, Conn.), senior captain Brendan Lynch (Watertown, Conn.), junior Aaron Gauvin (Berlin, Conn.), and junior Maksym Ugrak (Newington, Conn.) all received the nod. Additionally, senior captain Jack Monroe (Waterbury, Conn.) was selected as a member of the NEISDA All-Sportsmanship Team. All three USJ captains were recognized on All-NEISDA teams, with all three being the 'pioneers' of the men's swim & dive program. They are three members of the original men's team that hit the pool for the 2018-19 inaugural season.
NEISDA is a coach-run swimming and diving association with nearly two dozen Division III schools in New England. The association has been around for over 100 years.
