USJ wasted little time opening the scoring, as senior attack Quinn Perkins (Norwich, Conn.) found the back of the net just 28 seconds into the contest to give the Blue Jays a 1–0 lead.

Junior defenseman Dylan Hood (Orange, Vt.) followed 11 seconds later, and senior attack Freeman Johnson (Swanzey, N.H.) capped a quick three-goal burst to make it 3–0 early.

Colby-Sawyer got on the board at the 12:26 mark, but USJ responded with a dominant finish to the opening quarter. Dominic Oakes (Southington, Conn.), Perkins, Sly Curto (South Hadley, Mass.), Nick Wesley (Wakefield, Mass.), JD DeNicola-Rakvin (Staten Island, N.Y.), and Benjamin Bausch (Holliston, Mass.) all scored during a sustained run that sent the Blue Jays into the second quarter with a 10–1 lead.

The Blue Jays continued to pull away in the second, scoring 13 unanswered goals to take a commanding 23–1 advantage into halftime. Aaron Goldstein (Walden, N.Y.), Adam Pelletier (North Kingstown, R.I.), Nick Pestrichello (Newington, Conn.), Oakes, Henry Pennell (Bellows Falls, Vt.), Ethan Menard (West Springfield, Mass.), and AJ Valone (Sayville, N.Y.) each found the back of the net in the period.

USJ added to its lead in the third quarter, as Chris Clancy (Glastonbury, Conn.) and DeNicola-Rakvin struck early. Colby-Sawyer broke through with a man-up goal late in the frame to make it 25–2.

Menard accounted for the lone goal of the fourth quarter as USJ closed out the 26–2 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- DeNicola-Rakvin paced the offense with a game-high six points on two goals and four assists.
- Pestrichello recorded a team-high four goals.
- Bausch corralled a game-high nine ground balls while going a perfect 9-for-9 at the faceoff X.
- Wesley caused a game-high five turnovers, pushing his season total to a program-record 39 caused turnovers.
- Junior goalkeeper Noah Isleib (Easton, Mass.) made the start, stopping two shots in the first half to earn the win and improve to 10–1.
- Sophomore Kris Dube (Southington, Conn.) played the second half, recording one save.
UP NEXT
The Blue Jays hit the road for the penultimate time during the 2026 regular season, traveling to reigning GNAC champion Rivier University on Saturday, April 11. Opening faceoff against the Raiders at Joanne Merrill Field in Nashua, N.H., is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
