DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The nationally-ranked No. 25 University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team opened its 2025-26 campaign in strong fashion, defeating Worcester State University (WSU), 91-80, in the opening game of the Lafrance Hospitality Tournament hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday evening inside the Tripp Athletic Center. With the win, the Blue Jays started the season 1-0, marking the fifth straight year they've won their season opener, while the Lancers dropped to 0-1. The contest was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.
