Feldrappe Named GNAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Junior forward Friedrich Feldrappe (Berlin, Germany) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Player of the Week, it was announced by the conference front office Monday afternoon in its third weekly report of the 2024-25 season. It marked the first career weekly conference honor for Feldrappe and the first for the Blue Jays this season.
Feldrappe was extremely efficient on his way to scoring a career-high and game-high 29 points to help power the Blue Jays to a 79-76 victory over Babson College in their lone game of the week this past Wednesday night (Nov. 20) at home. In 36 minutes of floor time, the Berlin, Germany native connected on 9-of-13 (69.2%) attempts from the field, including 3-of-6 (50.0%) tries from beyond the arc. He also went a perfect 8-of-8 from the charity stripe in route to setting his new career-high single-game scoring mark. He also added six rebounds and dished out four assists in the triumph.
Through the first three games of the 2024-25 season, Feldrappe currently leads the team in scoring, averaging 18.7 points per game. He's connected on 21-of-41 (51.2%) attempts from the field, including 3-of-14 (21.4%) from three, and converted 11-of-13 (84.6%) shots from the free-throw line. He has also hauled in 16 rebounds, which is second-most on the team, and dished out a team-high 10 assists to help the Blue Jays to a 2-1 start to the young season.

Men's basketball is back on the hardwood Monday, November 25 for its first road contest of the 2024-25 season. The Blue Jays are set to make the trip to Dudley, Mass. for a matchup with the Nichols College Bison inside the Nichols Athletic Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
