Men's Hoops Comes Up Short Versus No. 12 Tufts Wednesday Night, 86-77

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Senior guard Tyree Mitchell (East Hartford, Conn.) matched his career-high with a game-best 28 points, but the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's basketball team came up short, falling to the nationally-ranked No. 12 Tufts University Jumbos, 86-77, at home Wednesday evening in a non-conference contest inside James A. Calhoun Gymnasium in West Hartford, Conn. With the result, the Blue Jays slide to 6-2 overall on the season, while the Jumbos remain perfect on the year and improve to 9-0.

Men's basketball returns to the hardwood on Saturday, December 9 at home versus New England College (NEC) for its 2023-24 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) home opener.
