2020-21: Appeared in one game in his shortened first season, playing three minutes. Saint Joseph went 2-2 on the year.

Before USJ: Kamara is a native of West Haven, Conn. He played his high school ball at Notre Dame-West Haven, the same school as teammate Alec Kinder. He played four years of basketball and two years of football. Kamara was second team All-SCC (Southern Connecticut Conference) as a senior in 2020, leading the Green Knights to the second best record in all of CIAC Division I at 19-1. ND-WH was on its way to a potential state title run before the postseason was cancelled due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Kamara was a four-year high honors student and a West Haven Rotary Club Student-Athlete.
