Bio

Tim Jerome enters his second season as a volunteer assistant baseball coach at USJ. He serves as the team's infield coach and first base coach. In his first season at the University of Saint Joseph in 2024 as an assistant coach, the Blue Jays finished with a 17 – 22-1 record. Clinching the first playoff appearance and playoff win in program history. The Blue Jays also had five players earn All-Great Northeast Athletic Conference selections.

Jerome got his start in coaching in 1993 for Waterford American Legion Baseball. He served as President of Waterford Little League from 2012 - 2014. In 2016 - 2022 he coached in the Waterford Babe Ruth League. Tim coached 3 CT Babe Ruth State Championship teams in 2016, 2017, and 2018. He has a New England Regional Championship in 2016 along with a trip and finished 4th place in the 2016 13-year-old Babe Ruth World Series in Ottumwa Iowa. 

Jerome has 2 children, Zachery age 33 and Benjamin age 22.  He works out of Local 30 Operating Engineers and lives with his wife Jennifer in Waterford CT.
