Cahill Named GNAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
WINTHROP, Mass. – Senior right-handed pitcher Brandon Cahill (Meriden, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) baseball team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Pitcher of the Week, it was announced by the conference front office Monday afternoon in its first weekly report of the 2026 season. The award marks the first weekly conference honor of Cahill's career, the first for the Blue Jays this season, and the program's first-ever GNAC Pitcher of the Week recognition.
Cahill delivered a dominant outing in the Blue Jays' 7-2 Opening Day victory over Gordon College, firing five innings of one-run ball while scattering four hits and striking out seven.
