Amanda Devitt Named 2025-26 GNAC Executive of the Year
WINTHROP, Mass. – University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Associate Vice President of Athletics and Recreation Amanda Devitt was named the 2025-26 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Executive of the Year, the conference office announced Monday. The honor marks the second time Devitt has received the award, having previously earned the distinction in 2022-23.
The award is part of the GNAC's 2025-26 administrative awards, which recognize administrators in the categories of Executive of the Year, Athletic Communications Staff of the Year, and Athletic Training Staff of the Year. The awards are presented annually to league administrators who, based on a vote of their peers, have excelled in their respective fields throughout the academic year.
The Blue Jays continued to thrive under Devitt's leadership in 2025-26, as the department captured its eighth GNAC championship when the men's soccer team claimed the 2025 conference title. The university also continued its historic growth under Devitt's direction, as the USJ Athletics Complex completed the addition of bleacher seating and a press box, enhancing the game-day experience for Blue Jay fans.
