WINTHROP, Mass. – A school-record 121 student-athletes from the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) were named to the 2024–25 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

OFFICIAL GNAC RELEASE

To qualify for Academic All-Conference recognition, student-athletes must have completed at least two academic years, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25, and compete in one of the GNAC's 21 championship sports.

Across the entire GNAC, a record 1,663 student-athletes were honored—marking the eighth consecutive year the conference has recognized over 1,000 student-athletes for academic excellence.

For the third straight year, Lasell University led all schools with 145 selections, followed by Johnson & Wales University (132), Saint Joseph's College of Maine (131), and Norwich University (126). USJ ranked fifth for the second consecutive year, reaching a new high with 121 selections across its 15 GNAC varsity programs.

Five additional institutions also topped the 100-mark: Rivier University (119), Regis College (116), Emmanuel College (113), New England College (104), and Dean College (102) rounded out the top 10.

Factoring in multi-sport athletes, men's lacrosse led all of USJ's programs with 21 selections. Women's soccer and baseball followed with 15 each, while field hockey (14) and softball (12) rounded out the top five.
