USJ Men Third, Women Tied for Fourth in 2024-25 GNAC Commissioner's Cup Standings
WINTHROP, Mass. - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) has released its final standings for the 2024–25 GNAC Commissioner's Cup, with the University of Saint Joseph finishing third in the men's standings and tied for fourth in the women's standings.
The GNAC Commissioner's Cup annually recognizes the member institution that achieves the highest level of athletic success throughout the academic year. It is based on a point system, with standings determined by percentage in order to reflect the number of GNAC sports each member institution sponsors. Schools receive five points for winning a GNAC Championship, four points for reaching the championship game, three points for advancing to a semifinal, two points for qualifying for a GNAC tournament, and one point simply for sponsoring the sport.

USJ's six GNAC men's varsity programs combined to earn 17 out of a possible 30 points (56.7%) to secure a third-place finish. On the women's side, the Blue Jays' nine varsity programs earned 23 of a possible 45 points (51.1%), tying for fourth place with Colby-Sawyer College. This marks the fourth consecutive year the USJ men have finished inside the top three in the Commissioner's Cup standings, while the women's team improved four spots from last year, posting the highest finish in program history.
