Karina Jassil and Jenna Zup Selected to Participate in Chi Alpha Sigma, Women Leaders in Sports Mentorship Program
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. – Senior Karina Jassil (North Branford, Conn.) of women's lacrosse and senior Jenna Zup (Berlin, Conn.) of women's soccer and softball were selected to the Women Leaders in Sports Rising Stars mentorship program as part of their collaboration with Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athletic Honor Society.
A cohort of 40 Chi Alpha Sigma inductees interested in pursuing a career in sports will take part in the Women Leaders' Rising Stars mentorship program this academic year. The opportunity will connect inductees with experienced professionals in athletics who will serve as resources to the cohort, helping guide them as they begin to navigate their post-graduate careers. Members of the cohort will also take part in professional development sessions through Women Leaders that will be designed to enhance their skills, knowledge, and connections in the sports industry.
To be eligible, applicants must have been inducted into an active Chi Alpha Sigma chapter, have an interest in pursuing a career in athletics coaching or administration and be graduating with their undergraduate degree at the conclusion of the Spring 2025 semester.
Members of the Chi Alpha Sigma cohort were selected in the fall with programming set to begin soon.
