BOSTON, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision Saturday to Emerson College in a non-conference match at the Brown-Plofker Gym.
Emerson, a former league rival which left the GNAC for the NEWMAC this season, is 15-9 overall. St. Joseph is 8-15. Scores by set were 25-10, 25-7, 25-14.
Amanda Dondero (Mastic, N.Y.) had a team-high five kills for the Blue Jays and added five digs. Megan Williams (Lakeville, Conn.) had 14 assists (on 14 Blue Jay kills) and a team-high six digs.
St. Joseph next plays at Anna Maria, Thur. Oct. 24 at 7 p.m. in a GNAC match.
