QUINCY, Mass. – The University of Saint Joseph volleyball team dropped both ends of a non-conference tri-match Saturday at Curry College.
Saint Joseph lost a close 3-1 decision to Curry (25-22, 23-25, 25-15, 26-24) and was swept by Eastern Nazarene (25-17, 25-5, 25-22).
Saint Joseph sophomore Ciara Perez (Manchester, Conn.) had match-highs of 12 kills and 16 digs against Curry. Amanda Dondero (Mastic, N.Y.) and Emily Vigue (Lebanon, Conn.) each had 10 kills. Megan Williams (Lakeville, Conn.) contributed 32 assists and five aces.
Perez had eight kills against Eastern Nazarene and Elizabeth Tuazon (Mystic, Conn.) had 15 digs.
Saint Joseph (1-8) hosts Elms, Tue. Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.
