Tennis Season Opens With Loss

HOLYOKE, Mass. -- The University of Saint Joseph tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision against Mount Holyoke College Saturday to open its 2012 season.

Saint Joseph junior Meghan Toth (Naugatuck, Conn.) won three games in the second set at No. 1 singles, but the Blue Jays were otherwise shutout on the day. 

The Blue Jays host Bay Path, Wed. Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.
