In High School: Played softball for four years, basketball for three (and manager for one year when injured) and ran cross-country for two . . . A 2012 CIAC Class S All-State softball player when she batted .494 with 36 runs scored and 29 stolen bases . . . All-Eastern Conn. Conference selection from 2010-'12 and honorable mention as a freshman . . . Member of ECC Division champs in 2009, '11 and '12 . . . Won team's Silver Stick Award for having highest batting average on the team from 2010-'12 and finished with over 100 career hits . . . Tri-M Music Honor Society (Vice-President), Spanish Club (President), Italian Club.
