WINTHROP, Mass. – Freshman David Kavanaugh (West Hartford, Conn.) of the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) men's cross country team was named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Runner and Rookie of the Week, it was announced Monday afternoon by the conference front office. It marks the second and third career GNAC weekly honors for Kavanaugh after he earned the GNAC Rookie of the Week nod two weeks prior.
Kavanaugh kept up the impressive start to his career as a member of the Blue Jays, winning his second meet of the season this past Saturday at the Blue Jay Invitational hosted by USJ.
