GNAC, USJ Announce Plans Regarding Winter Athletics

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. - Today, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its decision to cancel conference athletic competition for winter sports. As part of the decision, the presidents agreed that individual institutions have the discretion to organize practices and schedule alternative competitions, dependent on state and local guidelines.

The University of Saint Joseph (USJ) is considering all options, including on-campus training plans and exploring alternative opportunities to compete this winter, and we will update student-athletes with plans in the coming weeks. The health and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, staff and community will remain our highest priority during this process.
